Bir Billing Trivia
Bir is the landing site and Billing is the takeoff site. Together, they are called Bir Billing. Bir Billing became more popular after it hosted the Paragliding World Cup in 2015, which attracted paragliders from all over the world. This was the first time that India hosted the Paragliding World Cup. In addition to paragliding, the town of Bir and its surroundings offer a variety of cultural experiences, including seven Buddhist monasteries: Choukling, Nyingyang, Tsering Jong, Palpung Sherabling, Bhumang Jampaling, Zabsang Choekhor Ling, and Sakya Dirru.
Bodoland Trivia
The Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) is a semi-autonomous region in Assam, India, that is seeking statehood. It is located on the north bank of the Brahmaputra River, below the foothills of Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh. The Bodos have a unique culture that is different from other cultures around the world. This culture encompasses dance, music, festivals, and clothing. It has also played a major role in shaping the Bodo language and culture.
